(More customer reviews)1st this lock is about 3.5 feet long not 5ft. You are getting a $3 lock. We use them for a quick lock up when running into a store or out to eat with the bikes, but I would not use it to lock overnight, forlong time someplace, a bad area, or a place where you can not see your bike.Its a lock though, which is better then nothing. Fits great under the seat, easy to use numbers to open, not for a bike with removeable front wheel since I am not sure how else you would attach it to anything since it is so short!
