This cable lock is the toughest I've ever seen. One inch thick steel cable PLUS thickness from the plastic coating - this thing is HUGE. Because of the extreme thickness, it's a bit tough to bend. You will NOT be able to coil this to anything more compact than you see in the picture - you cannot make two loops out of it. That means a bit of a problem mounting it to your bike - this one large loop ends up being as large as the entire center space on my 26" bike frame. So you'll have trouble finding enough space to mount it. It is probably meant for people to carry this in a backpack instead.
Final problem, and BIG disappointment - for some reason this seller sells the lock ALONE - NO MOUNT DEVICE IS INCLUDED.Nowhere in the ad did it say this, and anywhere else you would buy this lock , the Kryptonite EZ-MultiFit bracket is included in the package. So this is a major point.
The lock itself is tough, probably the best cable secondary lock on the market, but you need to buy this ELSEWHERE so that, if you can mount it at all, at least you get the mounting bracket that is supposed to be included with it. Check [...] and you'll see that this lock is only sold WITH the bracket.
Bottom line:
the lock itself: 5/5 for security, considering it's still just a cable lock.
convenience: 3/5 - once you see how big and unwieldy this is, you probably won't mount it to your bike
seller : 1/5 - for never stating in the listing that the mount intended to come with this lock is NOT included.
