(More customer reviews)This is a nice little battery powered speaker. 4 C-cell batteries give it enough power, and it is louder than most other battery powered speakers that work with MP3 players. The quality of the audio is not bad, however it is not as good as the smaller battery powered speakers with less power. If you need high quality audio more than you need a loud speaker, then this is not the best speaker for you. If you need something loud, then this is perfect.
This thing looks a lot like a lantern when the handle is upright and it's sitting on it's rubber base. This speaker can double as an interesting conversation starter when you're not using it as a speaker.
Also note that this thing is made in China. Of course, when it comes to electronics like this, then good luck finding something that's not made in China.
